  • invent a step by step guide to illustrate to chapters and states how to get more involved and interact with their local and state government
  • Focus on Training (including JCI courses) and mentoring inexperienced trainers
  • identify businesses and educational institutions to introduce new trainings important to our members
  • Develop informative materials for the chapters that illuminate the importance of surveys, how to implement them and how to incorporate the results into their chapter plan
information Distribution
  • Maintain a website that is up to date and easy to use
  • Listen to the input from our members in order to identify and address their needs and incorporate their ideas into the National Plan of Action
  • Reinforce the idea of consistent communication between the National, State and Local Organizations; not just before events or at month's end
  • increase communication and involvement with isolated chapters (those without a State Organization and/or who are located in rural areas)
  • Utilize innovative and cutting-edge technology in communication, training and public relations
Membership Tools and Resources
  • Provide to our members, the information and tools necessary prior to the beginning of their year so it can be implemented in State and Local plans
  • inspect all forms and ensure they are easy to interpret and in a format that is customizable (including award applications, community surveys and sample membership surveys)
  • Develop simplified, informative and easy to access fact sheets every program offered by the US Jaycees
  • Create additional customizable marketing materials for specific situations: new charter recruiting, business recruiting, membership drives, public relations, corporate sponsorships, etc.
  • Continue to initiate fun membership challenges, recognizing and rewarding top performers
Supporting Executive Team Responsibilities
  • Persist in our drive for financial integrity and accountability while increasing the Organization's overall financial security
  • Continue to introduce new sources of revenue for the Organization while intensifying our existing partnerships
  • Strengthen our partnership with Riley's Toys as a nationally supported charity that we can promote and be identified with as an organization, thus enhancing our public image
  • Maintain the practice of impartial leadership
  • Monitor and evaluate the new procedures, programs and committees that have been previously implemented to determine their effectiveness, successful aspects and areas for improvement
