I am proud to announce my candidacy for the 2011 President of the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce. When I first learned about the Jaycee organization almost ten years ago, I immediately realized that there was something special about it. Here was an opportunity to learn leadership skills, grow personal skills and develop a professional network while improving our local and global community. I joined immediately at my first meeting but never imagined the amazing impact that single decision would have on the rest of my life.
Through the years the Jaycee Organization has accomplished incredible feats leaving an immeasurable impact on our world and the generations that followed. I firmly believe that everything possible has not yet been accomplished. We must dare to imagine what we can accomplish for ourselves and our world. Then without fear, we must do what it takes to create opportunities to involve everyone in our quest. Regardless if the goal is big or small, global or personal, we will make a positive impact by our actions. Only then can we inspire others to do the same: imagine, involve, impact and inspire. Now is time to ignite that passion, that determination and that desire in ourselves and others.
As I intently listened in a training seminar by Hardy Smith in which he spoke about the key to success was having the right people in the right place at the right time, it reinforced my belief that I was indeed the right person in the right place and that 2011 was the right time.
My passion for this organization is unparallel and the energy I will put into strengthening it in quality and quantity, is inexhaustible. I ask for your support in electing me as your 91st USJC President. With a strong team of leaders serving with me, the Jaycees will continue to grow and flourish in positive impact, influence and inspiration.
Yours in Jaycee Spirit,
Joanie Cramer
